Dental Fillings

Our Priority, Seamless Dental Fillings

During routine cleanings, Dr. Delon Naidoo identifies cavities using tools like dental probes, caries-detecting liquid, and X-rays to assess the extent of decay. If a filling is needed, he will discuss your options—such as composite bonding or CAD/CAM inlays/onlays—considering factors like aesthetics, durability, cost, and your preferences. The procedure begins with numbing the area (and sedation if needed for comfort), followed by removing decay, cleansing the tooth, and applying the filling material. Composite fillings are bonded and hardened with a special light, ensuring a natural look and functional restoration. Aftercare includes maintaining good oral hygiene, regular check-ups, and a balanced diet to prevent future decay.
